My name is Irene, but my friends call me Rena and so can you :)

I was born and raised in Northern Greece, in Thessaloniki, a city built by the sea, where it's very warm in the summer and very cold in the winter. I love my country, but I also love to travel. I've been to a number of places and my dream is to manage to travel around the world someday.

Music is my life; it's like oxygen to me and this is because I come from a music-centered family.

I listen to all kinds of music but generally I prefer heavy sounds.

More specifically I love old-school thrash metal or classic metal, if you wish to name it so, as in Anthrax, Exodus, Testament, Protector, Kreator, Slayer and many more.

I really like groovy sounds as in Machine Head, Devildriver, Norma Jean, Zuul FX etc. and only specific nu-metal bands (Slipknot, P.O.D. and Mudvayne).

I also like hardcore/punk as in Pantera, Madball, Refused, Down, Sick of It All, Biohazard, Pro-Pain, Hatebreed etc. I can never leave out Alice In Chains and San Francisco's Dead Kennedys, sounds that strongly remind me of my childhood. Other than that I enjoy listening to Deftones, Sepultura, Cancer Bats, Fear Factory, Meshuggah and only a couple death metal bands such as Morbid Angel, Obituary and Napalm Death.

So far, the best concert I've ever been to was Metallica's anniversary live for the 20 years anniversary of "Master of Puppets" in the context of Rock Am Ring festival in Nűrburgring in 2006; A 3-hour show, in which they performed all tracks from "Master of Puppets" including several other tracks from albums released prior to that. Only one word comes to my mind to describe that show: Awesome! Apart from that I've watched several bands perform live and enjoyed it very much; Machine Head, Sepultura, Pro-Pain, Deftones, Soulfly, Zuul FX, Blasted, Danko Jones, Tool, Turbonegro, Avenged Sevenfold, Trivium, Alice In Chains, Stone Sour, Guns n' Roses… They were all great!

The only band, whose live performance I found horrible, were Korn, due to their lack of communication with the audience…

So, that's about it.
